On the 16th Hortiflorexpo China, Mr. Stefan Prinz, from the Germany Florist Association, shared with visitors with the latest trend for floristry in Europe through beautiful bouquets inspired by four seasons. With more conversations with the nature and integrated with the fashion, floristry masters lead us to perceive the replacement and changing of life from plants.
On site, we were surprised to find that Mr. Stefan Prinz didn’t use vases for most flower bouquets, but applied traditional European approaches. When he finished matching for bouquets, he bundled it up with ropes or decorative belt and made it upright on the table. Mr. Stefan Prinz told us it was a relatively novel floristry way in the current Europe, which made the bouquet enjoy a more compacted structure and facile design. Through this way, flowers seem to dance, bringing people with a sense of beauty, closer to the nature.
Madam Nicola Fink, from German Federation of Floristry, told us that every year, the color institution in France issues the world with the color trend of the year and in various fashion weeks, designers will take this color trend as the reference for the design of this year. In addition to fashion circle, home design as well as floristry circle is not exceptions. From the four-season bouquet design by Stefan Prinz, we cannot only capture the colors of trend, but also deeply feel that Europeans attach great importance to and their love for the nature.
Spring Flower Bouquet
Spring is a season where life begins to sprout and start their new life. From this bouquet, you can feel it is full of vitality and energy. It is reflected not only by its light colors such as light purple, green and yellow, but also the elements specially used by the florist like small buds, green scions and branches. The fresh leaves and flowers are filled with fragrant flavor, representing the entire process that the new life experiences. The key point is the bouquet is not very concentrated, as spring is the season when all begin to burgeon and grow. Therefore, it should not be too prosperous.
Summer Flower Bouquet
The color for the Summer Flower Bouquet is obviously much warmer. Colors like magenta, curry yellow and emerald green appear in this bouquet, showing a beautiful sense of prosperity and richness and magnificence. Madam Nicola Fink warned us: Summer is a season when people prefer to celebrate, entertain and enjoy leisure time with more outdoor activities including patties and BBQ. Therefore, florists will dot with some food materials such as peppers so as to increase more life to the bouquet.
Autumn Flower Bouquet
Compared with the former ones, colors of autumn bouquet are deeper, which evolve more golden and brown colors, eliminating green elements. It is every interesting that the florist added a small block in the bouquet, bringing people into a scene where with it gets colder, people are sitting around the stove. And the African Echinacea is a symbol of fruitfulness of the season.
Winter Flower Bouquet
The main colors for winter bouquet are the elegant one—white. Its shape is also more concise, as the florist considers that in winter, few plants can blossom, while the bouquet has to reflect this real law of nature. With limited materials, the florist created such a bouquet. In spite of several flowers, it brings people with a sense of spring in the freezing winter. In addition, it reflects the beauty that the nature enjoys itself, which is the core of the European floristry as well.
